Morocco's Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University signed a framework cooperation agreement to collaborate on education, continuing training, skills development, research, and financial education for the insurance and social welfare sectors. The cooperation is intended to develop joint projects by pooling UM6P’s academic, scientific and technological capabilities with ACAPS’ technical and regulatory expertise, including training and academic support programmes and research and development addressing current and future sector challenges. It also covers financial education through the design or adaptation of educational materials for different audiences and the implementation of innovative initiatives, with delivery to be governed by project-specific agreements setting out detailed implementation terms.
