The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) issued General Resolution No. 1045 extending until 16 January 2025 the entry into force of the reporting regime changes introduced by General Resolution No. 1033. General Resolution No. 1033 amended the information reporting framework for resident and non-resident clients, as applied to Settlement and Clearing Agents (ALyCs) and Trading Agents (AN), covering client investments where clients have a CDI (Identification Key) or CIE (Foreign Investor Key) and are holders or co-holders of client sub-accounts. It also requires clients to review, update and keep their information continuously up to date, and requires agents to complete due diligence before processing orders and/or recording transactions on CNV-authorised markets.
