The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) announced its participation in the Tanzania Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) exhibition in Dar es Salaam, using the event to provide insurance education to the public. The exhibition is being held at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Hall from 18 to 21 March 2025. TIRA is present across all four days to explain its regulatory role, promote the use of both general and life insurance products, and highlight opportunities available in Tanzania’s insurance sector. The exhibition forms part of VETA’s 30th anniversary celebrations and was officially opened on 18 March 2025 by Tanzania’s Prime Minister, Dr Kassim Majaliwa.
