The Pensions Superintendency (SIPEN) launched a training cycle at General de Seguros as part of its educational strategic plan to support Dominican firms in the pensions space and to help them obtain the “Here We Know About Pensions” seal. The programme provided detailed information on the individual capitalization system and its benefits. The first training covered three consecutive sessions and reached more than 100 employees, representing 79.6% of General de Seguros’ workforce. The sessions were delivered onsite by SIPEN’s Director of Education and Pension Services, Juan Manuel Pérez, and the Head of User Service, Larissa Llibre, and included an overview of the origins of the Social Security Law and the importance of increasing savings to improve pension outcomes.
