The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission’s Party committee held a 2025巡查 and inspection work conference and mobilisation and training session, setting the direction and operating requirements for this year’s internal inspection programme and preparing the Party committee inspection teams. The meeting, attended by Party committee secretary and director Li Yunze, outlined that the 2025 inspections will prioritise political oversight, including reviewing how inspected Party committees implement major decisions and deployments of the Communist Party of China and work arrangements of the regulator’s Party committee, coordinate development and security and prevent and defuse major risks,推进全面从严治党, strengthen leadership teams and基层党组织, and address remediation of issues identified through inspections, audits and other supervisory work. It also confirmed authorisations, leadership appointments and task allocations for inspection team heads. The programme is positioned as a key year for achieving full coverage of Party committee inspections, with inspection teams instructed to strengthen coordination, apply policies accurately, follow prescribed authority, rules and procedures, and maintain strict discipline and conduct while carrying out their assignments during 2025.
