The Angola Capital Markets Commission has approved the registration of Kassai Evolution I, a closed-end special investment fund in securities promoted by Kassai - Sociedade Gestora de Organismos de Investimento Colectivo, S.A. The approval allows the fund to invest in instruments in Angola’s money and capital markets within the parameters set out in the country’s collective investment regime. The fund’s investment policy covers treasury bonds and corporate debt securities admitted to trading on a regulated market, as well as common and preferred shares and other financial instruments that confer rights to acquire shares and are admitted to trading on a regulated market. It may also invest in money market instruments traded on a regulated market and certain instruments not admitted to trading where the issue or issuer is subject to investor or savings protection regulation, including treasury bills, central bank securities, commercial paper, repurchase transactions and bank deposits. Kassai - Sociedade Gestora de Organismos Colectivos, S.A. will act as the management company and Banco de Negócios Internacional, S.A. as the depositary entity.
