Oman Financial Services Authority holds IPO prospectus workshop with Muscat market operators to improve investor literacy

The Oman Financial Services Authority said it held a workshop with the Muscat Stock Exchange and Muscat Clearing and Depository Company on how to understand and read initial public offering prospectuses. The session was aimed at improving investor literacy in the capital markets by helping investors understand the core information in prospectuses and use it to evaluate investment opportunities. The workshop covered how to read and analyze prospectuses, including financial statements, key financial indicators and other essential data investors should review before making investment decisions. It also highlighted the prospectus as a key document for understanding an issuing company’s activities, financial performance and plans, as part of the three institutions’ broader effort to strengthen financial and investment awareness.
