The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported that Governor Jasmina Selimovic met Angelique van Haasteren, Coordinator of the Constituency Programme of the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to discuss cooperation on financial education and institutional capacity building. The Governor highlighted the role of the Netherlands-funded regional technical assistance project in financial education, delivered with the OECD, in supporting financial literacy and financial inclusion. The project brings together 11 member countries from the Dutch Constituency of the OECD and is intended to facilitate exchange of experience, capacity building, and joint work on developing national financial education strategies. Further joint action was framed around developing specific education programmes, with an emphasis on initiatives targeted at young people and vulnerable groups. Meeting participants expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation through additional joint projects and activities aimed at raising financial literacy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina backs continuation of Netherlands-funded OECD technical assistance on financial education
The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina discussed cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on financial education and capacity building.
