The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency of Türkiye published an update on a visit by an Albanian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Fatmir Guri, centered on agricultural insurance cooperation. Agency Chair Davut Menteş briefed the delegation on Türkiye’s agricultural insurance model, TARSIM, including its operation and its role in the Turkish insurance sector, and reviewed recent developments and planned steps. The Albanian side outlined the main agricultural risks faced in Albania, the measures taken to address them and the country’s agricultural insurance practices. The meeting focused on expanding the exchange of information and experience between Türkiye and Albania in agricultural insurance, developing existing cooperation and strengthening joint work in the area.
