The European Payments Council has published the EPC Directory Service (EDS) Local File, a downloadable dataset made available in XML, JSON or CSV format. The file is intended to give payment service providers (PSPs) and Routing and/or Verification Mechanisms (RVMs) an up-to-date reference source to confirm API endpoints and validate PSP details. Generated daily, the Local File contains key identification and adherence data as well as API endpoint-related information. Participants can download it from the EDS through authenticated graphical user interface access or obtain it via an EDS API, and then parse and import it into their IT systems for optimised access.
