The Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) has commenced its 40th Plenary and Working Group meetings in Amman, hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, running from 4 to 8 May 2025. The five-day programme brings together senior officials from MENAFATF members and observers from countries and regional and international organisations working on anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and countering the financing of proliferation of weapons. On the sidelines of the plenary, MENAFATF will hold a high-level workshop on fundamental changes in Financial Action Task Force international standards and the next round of mutual evaluations.

The Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) has begun its 40th Plenary and Working Group meetings in Amman, hosted by Jordan from 4 to 8 May 2025, with senior officials and observers discussing anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing. A high-level workshop on changes in Financial Action Task Force standards and upcoming mutual evaluations will also take place.
