Ukraine’s National Commission on Securities and Stock Market decided, at a committee meeting, to exclude GONZO INVEST LLC (Gonzo Invest) from its list of dubious investment projects after the firm completed the licensing process and obtained permission to provide investment advisory services. Gonzo Invest had been added to the Commission’s SCAM projects list in August 2023 due to the absence of a licence and signs of potential unreliability. The firm subsequently provided the required documents and underwent relevant checks, with the licence granted following analysis of the submissions and inspection results. The Commission linked the publication of the suspicious projects list and cooperation with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) to encouraging firms to move out of the shadow sector. The Commission indicated it will continue monitoring market participants and respond to developments that could affect investment security.
