The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) has cancelled the Australian financial services licence of Velos Global Markets Pty Ltd. The cancellation took effect on 23 September 2025 after ASIC became aware the firm had ceased to engage in financial services. ASIC cancelled the licence under section 915B(3) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). Velos held AFS licence number 500701 from 13 November 2017, and ASIC found it had not carried on a financial services business since around May 2024. Velos can seek review of ASIC’s decision by appealing to the Administrative Review Tribunal.
