With the banker’s oath entering into force on 15 January 2025 for fit and proper persons and executives responsible for managing banks, Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) published an explanatory video and opened the registration platform for oaths to be sworn at its premises.

Belgium's Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has implemented the banker's oath requirement for fit and proper persons and bank executives as of 15 January 2025. FSMA released an explanatory video and launched a registration platform for oath-taking at its premises.
