Dominican Republic's Superintendency of the Securities Market (SIMV), together with the Dominican Republic Stock Exchange (BVRD), CEVALDOM, the Association of Brokerage Firms (APB), the Dominican Association of Investment Fund Managers (ADOSAFI) and the Dominican Association of Trust Companies (ASOFIDOM), launched UnMercado.do, a digital financial education platform aimed at expanding capital markets and broader financial literacy among the Dominican public. The portal is designed to provide resources, tools and training programmes on investing, saving, personal finance and how the Dominican securities market works in an accessible format. The launch event featured a symbolic bell-ringing for financial education, a presentation of the portal by a BVRD executive, a panel discussion on financial education in the digital era moderated by SIMV’s ProInversionista team, and the raffle of scholarships and places on diploma courses and workshops offered by BVRD, APB and ASOFIDOM.
