The Central Bank of Russia has put into circulation a new 2026 version of the RUB 100 banknote. The update keeps the security features and front design used in the 2022 version, while changing the reverse side to feature a stylised map of Russia’s Central Federal District. The revised reverse follows the design approach used for the modified RUB 5,000 and RUB 1,000 banknotes issued in 2023 and 2025 and already in circulation. The 2026 RUB 100 banknote remains legal tender in the Russian Federation and must be accepted at face value for all types of goods and services without restrictions.
