The White House announced a set of presidential designations appointing chairs and acting chairs for multiple US federal commissions and agencies, including key financial regulators. Mark Uyeda was designated Acting Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission and Travis Hill was designated Acting Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Kyle Hauptman was designated Chair of the National Credit Union Administration Board and Andrew Ferguson was designated Chair of the Federal Trade Commission, alongside chair and acting chair designations across other federal bodies.
