The Jordan Securities Commission signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kingdom Channel, Al-Mamlaka TV, to strengthen cooperation on investor education, including the basics of investing, key risks and tools, and warnings against dealing with unlicensed companies or offers of fake guaranteed profits. The partnership is intended to deliver periodic television bulletins and messages and to produce content on the commission’s role, programmes and initiatives to promote financial awareness. Priority topics include managing investment risks in securities, particularly foreign exchange and virtual assets, with guidance on portfolio diversification, avoiding borrowing to invest, verifying the licensing of financial services companies and virtual asset service providers, and avoiding misleading advertisements and fake trading platforms; the MoU was signed by Securities Commission Chairman Imad Abu Haltam and Al-Mamlaka TV Director General Jaafar Al-Zoubi.
