Kazakhstan's Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market approves four senior executive appointments in the insurance sector

Kazakhstan's Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market has approved the appointment of four individuals to senior positions in the insurance market, granting regulatory consent for roles including executive body membership, head of a management body, and oversight of information technology. The approvals cover Duysebaev T.M. as a member of the executive body (1 April 2025), Kapyshev B.T. as another senior executive (1 April 2025), Karpykova A.S. as head of the management body (4 April 2025), and Tugelbasov B.D. as a member of the executive body responsible for information technology matters (22 April 2025). The agency also noted that, under Kazakhstan’s Law on Insurance Activity and subject to meeting qualification requirements, a manager who already has consent to hold a senior role may be transferred within the same sector to a similar position without obtaining additional consent; existing consents are available in the insurance sector section of the registers of permits and notifications.
