De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) announced that Chris Figee will join its Supervisory Board from 1 March, for an initial four-year term. He was appointed by Dutch Finance Minister Eelco Heinen on behalf of the shareholder, following a nomination by DNB’s Supervisory Board, and will fill a vacancy for a member with a financial sector profile. Figee is currently Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Management at KPN N.V., a role he has held since 2020. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Board at a.s.r. Nederland N.V., and has also held positions including director of strategy and performance management at Achmea and partner at McKinsey & Company, focusing on corporate finance and European insurance and asset management; he began his career as a portfolio manager at AEGON Levensverzekering N.V. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee of Royal Schiphol Group N.V. since 2022 and is a member of the South Holland Economic Board.
