The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission’s Party Committee Secretary and Director, Li Yunze, led a delegation to Hebei for a field visit focused on improving the effectiveness of financial services to the real economy, strengthening the prevention and resolution of financial risks, and reinforcing coordination between central and local supervision. During meetings with Hebei’s provincial leadership, the delegation emphasised shared responsibility with local party and government, guiding banking and insurance institutions to optimise services and support the expansion of effective demand, including for coordinated Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei development and the development of the Xiong’an New Area. At the Xingtang local financial regulatory bureau, Li called for stronger Party-building, continued work under the “Four News” project consolidation and improvement initiative, and greater use of county-level supervision to advance the SME financing coordination mechanism, enhance risk monitoring and early warning, and strengthen financial consumer protection. Visits to local outlets of Agricultural Bank of China, Hebei Bank and China Life highlighted expectations to meet reasonable SME financing needs, increase agriculture-related lending, improve inclusive finance services, and ensure financial service continuity and security arrangements during the Spring Festival period.
