The Federal Reserve Board announced that Adriana D. Kugler will step down as a member of the Board of Governors, effective 8 August 2025. Kugler has served as a governor since 13 September 2023 and submitted her resignation letter to President Trump. She will return to Georgetown University as a professor in fall 2025. During her tenure, she served on several internal committees, including the Committee on Financial Stability and the Subcommittee on Smaller Regional and Community Banking, and acted as the Board’s representative to the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies.

Federal Reserve Board Governor Adriana D. Kugler will resign effective 8 August 2025 to return to Georgetown University. Kugler, who joined the Board in September 2023, contributed to internal committees on financial stability and regional banking, and represented the Board at the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies.
