The Vietnam State Securities Commission’s Scientific Research and Securities Training Center has opened enrollment for a one-day course on strengthening company secretary practice at public companies in the context of Vietnam’s stock market upgrade. The course is scheduled for July 17, 2026 at the commission’s headquarters in Hanoi and is aimed at company secretaries, board secretaries, corporate governance officers, board members and other individuals involved in governance at public companies, as well as other interested participants. The morning session will cover the role of the company secretary in the market-upgrade context and the position of company secretaries at Vietnamese public companies. The afternoon session will provide practical guidance on company secretary work at public companies and will end with certificates of completion. Instructors are Le Trung Hai, deputy head of the Vietnam State Securities Commission’s public company supervision unit, and Nguyen Thanh Hoa, a Bao Viet Group corporate governance executive. Tuition is VND 2,500,000 per participant, including course materials, the completion certificate and related costs.
