Highlighted sessions include a July 27 lecture by Martin Rama on Uruguay's challenges from an urban economics perspective and a July 28 presentation by Laura Alfaro on rare earths, covering opportunities, challenges, global outlooks and their economic impact. The program also includes a conference by Central Bank of Uruguay President Guillermo Tolosa on July 29 at 5:30 p.m. In parallel, the central bank is again incorporating its Winter School, aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate economics students, with a limited group invited to meet with figures shaping the local and global economic agenda during the conference.
