The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has launched a consultation on increasing registration and annual fees for Recognised Auditors from 1 January 2027. The proposals form part of a coordinated fee review across the Crown Dependencies and broadly reflect inflation since the last increase in January 2023. They would affect registered Recognised Auditors and applicants for registration. The application fee would rise from GBP 1,405 to GBP 1,475, while the annual fee would increase from GBP 1,055 to GBP 1,113. The Responsible Individual fee would rise from GBP 120 to GBP 127. Recognised Auditors audit Isle of Man incorporated companies with transferable securities listed on a United Kingdom or European Union regulated market. The consultation covers fees payable to the Authority as registrar, excluding monitoring and oversight fees payable to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales or the United Kingdom Financial Reporting Council, and separate auditor authorisation fees. Equivalent consultations have been issued in Jersey and Guernsey. The three Crown Dependencies’ registrars intend to review Recognised Auditor fees annually as part of their wider fee reviews.
