The Central Bank of Luxembourg published its consumer confidence survey results showing a marked deterioration in June 2025, with the overall indicator falling to -12 from -7 in May. The composite measure is calculated as the arithmetic mean of four seasonally adjusted components. All components weakened in June except households’ assessment of their past financial situation, which improved to 2. Households lowered expectations for their own future financial situation to -1 and, more sharply, for the general economic situation in Luxembourg to -18, while intentions for major purchases dropped to -32, described as a historical low.
