The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a workshop on the architecture of the securities market for staff of the Angolan Insurance Regulation and Supervision Agency. The session formed part of the commission's financial literacy and capacity-building activities and was aimed at improving understanding of how Angola's capital market works, including its functions, potential and investment opportunities. The workshop covered the commission's institutional role in regulating, supervising, overseeing and promoting the capital market, as well as the main financial instruments available for investment. It also addressed different investor risk profiles and the main considerations for making informed investment decisions aligned with investor objectives. The session included discussion and questions from participants to clarify the topics presented.
