The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority has directed all nonbank finance companies and entities to report activity data monthly through its data platform. Submissions covering the previous month must be completed within the first 15 days of each month and undergo a comprehensive review for accuracy, completeness and consistency. The authority has exceptionally reopened the platform from Oct. 12 to Oct. 29, 2026, allowing entities to complete required information and review, correct or update data submitted since Jan. 1, 2026. The reporting obligations are intended to improve performance analysis and early risk detection while supporting full connectivity between regulated entities’ databases and the authority’s systems. The measure follows an earlier requirement, effective Sept. 24, 2026, for consumer finance companies to establish infrastructure linking their databases with the authority. That connection covers customer and transaction data, classifications of financed goods and services, customer repayment performance, and company solvency indicators.
