The Angola Capital Markets Commission, represented by Executive Administrator Edna Mascarenhas, participated in the 31 October 2025 launch ceremony for the BFAAM Emerging Income Fund in Luanda and used opening remarks to highlight the role of new products and partnerships in expanding investment opportunities. The fund was launched by BFA Gestão de Activos in partnership with Ninety One. Mascarenhas pointed to growth in the collective investment undertakings (OIC) industry, citing more than 6,000 participants and AOA 1.4 billion in assets, and reaffirmed the Commission’s intention to support a stable, transparent and innovative regulatory environment that underpins capital market development and financing for the national economy.
