The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City has established an Agricultural Advisory Council within its Center for Agriculture and the Economy. The council will meet twice a year to provide insights into emerging agricultural trends and issues, advise on the center’s strategy and priorities, and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders. The 10 inaugural members represent farming, agribusiness, agricultural research, rural banking and nonprofit organizations. The Kansas City Fed established the center in October 2025 to analyze the agricultural economy, engage industry participants and support Federal Reserve officials in assessing economic conditions and determining monetary policy.
