The Italian Securities Commission (Consob) has published the Edufin Committee’s press release opening applications to participate in Financial Education Month 2025, with proposals accepted from 1 September to 17 October 2025 via an online form on the committee’s website. The eighth edition is expected to include a nationwide programme of free in-person and online seminars, lessons, webinars, games, workshops and shows focused on managing and planning personal and family financial resources, under the slogan “Financial education: today for your tomorrow”. Applications are open to associations, institutions, companies, universities and research centres, schools, foundations, public administrations and other organisations, provided initiatives meet the participation criteria set out in the Edufin Committee’s guidelines and are aimed at strengthening citizens’ financial, insurance and pension skills. Once approved by the Edufin Committee, events will be published in the official Financial Education Month 2025 calendar. The committee is housed at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and includes the relevant ministries and authorities, including the Bank of Italy, Consob, the Pension Supervisory Commission (Covip) and the Italian Insurance Supervisory Authority (IVASS).
