The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan held training sessions on “Financial technologies and digital transformation” for students at Baku State University, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan Technical University, as part of its initiatives to increase digital financial literacy in higher education. The four-day programme covered open banking and the “distributed know-your-customer” concept, virtual assets, payment systems and innovation, digital fraud and cybersecurity, and the use of artificial intelligence in data management and analytics processes. Participants were also introduced to the Central Bank’s electronic educational resources, applied their learning through consolidated assignments and presentations, and received certificates upon successful completion.
