The South Korea Financial Supervisory Service, at an international conference jointly held with Ewha Womans University, outlined plans to support the practical development of transition finance. Governor Lee Chanjin said the regulator will work with the financial sector to build a transparent climate disclosure system and explore how companies’ disclosures can inform transition finance provision. The Financial Supervisory Service will also coordinate with relevant ministries to expand the market ecosystem for climate action.
