The update is intended to improve transparency and comparability of supervisory practices across Member States and is presented in an aggregated format without adding reporting burden for institutions. The disclosure covers the national laws, regulations, administrative rules and general guidance adopted in each Member State, how options and discretions under Union law are exercised, and the general criteria and methodologies used in supervisory review and evaluation processes. It also includes aggregate statistical data on implementation, including supervisory measures and administrative penalties, as part of an annual exercise under Article 143(2) of CRD V and Article 57(4) of the IFD.
