The Central Bank of Egypt published updated data showing that remittances from Egyptians working abroad continued to rise, increasing by 42.5% during January/November 2025 to about USD 37.5 billion. The release compared this with about USD 26.3 billion over the same period in the previous year. On a monthly basis, remittances rose by 39.9% in November 2025 to about USD 3.6 billion, versus around USD 2.6 billion in November 2024.

The Central Bank of Egypt reported a 42.5% increase in remittances from Egyptians abroad, reaching approximately USD 37.5 billion from January to November 2025, compared to USD 26.3 billion in the same period the previous year. November 2025 saw a 39.9% rise in monthly remittances to about USD 3.6 billion, up from USD 2.6 billion in November 2024.
