Vietnam State Securities Commission training centre signs MoU with Thuongmai University to cooperate on securities research and training

The Vietnam State Securities Commission’s Securities Scientific Research and Training Center and Thuongmai University signed a memorandum of understanding setting out cooperation on securities research, education and related outreach. The MoU focuses on coordinating and sharing scientific research information and jointly delivering training and seminars on securities and the securities market, while creating opportunities for students to learn and gain practical exposure. SSC Chairwoman Vu Thi Chan Phuong highlighted the Center’s role as the sole unit with responsibility for organizing training and issuing professional securities certificates, and indicated it would support securities education for the university’s students, including facilitating participation in competitions co-organized by the SSC and international organizations; the university also expects additional specialised content and more practice-oriented classes. Thuongmai University said it will develop a detailed implementation plan for the bilateral cooperation.
