The Angola Insurance Authority has revoked the 2020 circular that required insurers to use the ASANnet digital platform for weekly reporting on compulsory motor third-party liability insurance and has made the ARSEG Portal the official and exclusive channel for submitting regulatory information. The change reflects the entry into force of newer regulatory instruments that now govern insurers’ mandatory and periodic reporting, including reporting for this line of business. Insurers must now file through the ARSEG Portal all required periodic information on compulsory motor third-party liability policies, including issuance, updates and other registration data, in line with the current rules. The move centralises submission, receipt and processing of regulatory information, removes duplicate reporting mechanisms and aligns reporting with the updated prudential reporting framework for the insurance sector.

Angola Insurance Authority makes the ARSEG Portal the exclusive channel for insurers’ mandatory reporting
The Angola Insurance Authority (ARSEG) has revoked its 2020 circular mandating use of the ASANnet platform and designated the ARSEG Portal as the exclusive channel for regulatory reporting, including compulsory motor third-party liability insurance. Insurers must now submit all periodic information on these policies through the ARSEG Portal, which centralises reporting, removes duplicate mechanisms and aligns with the updated prudential reporting framework.
