The National Financial Board reviewed the Central Bank of Russia’s draft Monetary Policy Guidelines and Russian Financial Market Development Programme for 2027–2029. The meeting follows the central bank’s recent submission of the financial market programme and also covered macroprudential regulation and conditions in consumer lending. The board discussed measures to strengthen controls against insider information misuse and market manipulation, as well as progress under the Shareholder Value Creation Programme. It found B1 Audit LLC compliant with auditor independence requirements and proposed the firm for the mandatory audit of the central bank’s 2026 annual financial statements. The board also approved regulations governing the central bank’s day-to-day operations and reviewed its activities in the second quarter of 2026.
