Croatia's Ministry of Finance reported that Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Marko Primorac met Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Klemen Boštjančič in Brdo pri Kranju to advance bilateral cooperation on financial markets, with a focus on capital markets. Working sessions hosted by Slovenia’s Ministry of Finance brought together expert delegations and institutional representatives from both countries, including the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) and the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, alongside Slovenian counterparts. The talks centred on operational cooperation, coordination of activities, and joint advocacy of common positions intended to support the development and resilience of capital markets in the region. The ministry framed the meetings as a first step following the recent signing in Zagreb of a memorandum of cooperation on capital markets, with further collaboration intended to deepen integration between the two financial systems.
