The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo published an update on a meeting between Governor Ahmet Ismaili and representatives of the Austrian, German and Swiss embassies focused on Kosovo’s financial sector developments and ongoing reform activities, with particular emphasis on the Green Card system. The discussion covered key developments and reform initiatives, including progress in strengthening the legal and regulatory framework. Specific attention was given to reforms linked to European integration, including matters related to the Green Card system, within the central bank’s mandate for regulating and supervising the Kosovo Insurance Bureau and the insurance sector. Governor Ismaili also thanked the three countries’ institutions for continued support in strengthening the integrity, stability and sustainability of Kosovo’s financial system and in aligning the framework with European Union standards.
