The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia participated virtually in a QUAD meeting to update and discuss sustainable finance initiatives being advanced by ASEAN sectoral bodies. The Cambodian delegation was led by Director General Sou Socheat, in his capacity as Co-Chair of the ASEAN Working Committee on Capital Market Development. Discussions covered the ASEAN Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance, the ASEAN Transition Finance Guidance and Voluntary Carbon Market Study, the ASEAN Sustainable Finance Support Hub under the Working Committee on Capital Market Development framework, Sustainable Insurance Initiatives Asia, the Asia Green Transformation (GX) Consortium, and the ASEAN Economic Community Strategic Plan 2026–2030. Participants included members of the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum, ASEAN Insurance Regulators’ Meeting, ASEAN Senior Level Committee on Financial Integration and the Working Committee on Capital Market Development, with coordination by the ASEAN Secretariat and Sustainable Finance Institute Asia.
