Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Finance reported that lending to micro, small and medium businesses reached UZS 121.7 trillion in January–September 2026, up 21.7% from the same period in 2025. Loans allocated under entrepreneurship programs totaled UZS 31.058 trillion, an increase of UZS 7.6 trillion from a year earlier. As of Oct. 1, 2026, Uzbekistan had 635,608 registered small business entities, of which 459,064 were operating. A total of 66,280 new business entities were established during January–September 2026.

Lending under entrepreneurship programs rose by UZS 7.6 trillion to UZS 31.058 trillion. Of 635,608 registered small business entities, 459,064 were operating as of Oct. 1, 2026.
