The order covers rc.skipperandcharter.it and polizzerca.stimpf.it, including their www versions, and www.direzione.assicurazionimoto.eu. Internet providers operating in Italy are implementing the blocks, which may take several days for technical reasons. The reported total of unauthorized websites blocked has reached 408 since IVASS began exercising this power in November 2023. Consumers are warned against insurance offers involving contact through instant messaging, such as WhatsApp or text messages, and requests for payment using prepaid credit cards. They should also distrust websites absent from the official lists of websites belonging to insurance intermediaries and insurers supervised by IVASS.
