The European Commission will hold an implementation dialogue on Nov. 17, 2026, to examine support for strategic investment and improve the competitiveness of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor. Commissioners Marta Kos and Jozef Síkela will chair discussions with private sector representatives and international financial institutions, focusing on opportunities and constraints for private investment and ways to develop commercially viable connectivity projects. The discussions will examine support beyond financing, including regulatory measures, coordination and technical assistance, as well as instruments to reduce investment risk. Building on the June 2026 launch of the Connectivity Agenda Platform, participants will explore mechanisms for structured private sector consultation. They will also develop recommendations to address existing barriers and improve the design, prioritization and implementation of corridor investments in hard and soft infrastructure.
