Poland's Ministry of Finance has outlined draft legislation that would clarify lending rules for alternative investment funds, strengthen outsourcing requirements for fund managers and expand the use of liquidity management tools. The proposal would align Polish rules with European Union law by implementing Directive (EU) 2024/927. The outsourcing provisions would cover managers of investment funds and alternative investment funds. Broader access to liquidity management tools would help funds respond to market conditions and limit risks to fund participants. The draft would also improve supervisory reporting and data collection to support market monitoring. Certain supervisory reporting provisions would apply from April 16, 2027.
