The Central Bank of Montenegro has awarded scholarships to 10 undergraduate and master’s students at universities in Montenegro for the 2026/2027 academic year. The recipients form the third cohort of its “AcKnowledge the Knowledge” programme, launched in 2024, and study economics, law, computing or information technology. Selection criteria included academic achievement, English proficiency, competition awards and social engagement. The alignment of applicants’ study programmes with the central bank’s business needs and priorities was also assessed. Addressing scholarship recipients and academic representatives, Governor Irena Radović linked the programme to the need to strengthen professional capacity ahead of the bank’s future integration into European institutions and bodies.
