The Brunei Darussalam Central Bank has notified the public that BEEP Digital Solutions Sdn Bhd’s approval to operate as a payment system operator was withdrawn effective Sept. 30, 2026. The withdrawal followed the central bank’s supervisory assessment of BEEP’s compliance with regulatory requirements and the subsequent orderly winding down of its payment services operations. BEEP is no longer authorized to undertake activities as an approved payment system operator in Brunei Darussalam.
