The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has launched the inaugural Dubai Future Finance Week and unveiled plans for a tenfold expansion of DIFC Academy. The expanded academy will accommodate more than 50,000 learners annually from 2030, increasing its capacity to provide specialist education for the financial industry. The academy will move from its current facility occupying three floors to a campus spanning 370,000 square feet across three dedicated buildings in DIFC’s Zabeel District. The new facilities will expand teaching and research capacity and provide space for collaboration with the financial industry. Dubai Future Finance Week runs until Nov. 6, featuring more than 100 specialist events and over 1,000 speakers examining changes in global finance. Its flagship Dubai FinTech Summit takes place on Nov. 2 and 3, focusing on banking powered by artificial intelligence, shifting capital flows and emerging financial corridors. Discussions also address interoperable payment systems and the future of money.
