The Bank of Greece has launched an e-Appointment platform allowing citizens, businesses and professionals to book, reschedule or cancel appointments online for cash transactions. Customers can select their branch, service, date and time without making a telephone call, and receive immediate confirmation and appointment updates. Eligible services include purchases and sales of gold sovereigns and gold coins, sales of gold bars or ingots, and the supply of commemorative coins and collectible numismatic products. Appointments are also available for purchases and sales of foreign banknotes at Bank of Greece branches and euro cash services, including denomination exchanges and exchanges of damaged banknotes. The platform also covers cash transactions related to the Greek state or public sector entities.
