The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) concluded the main session of its Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit, attended by approximately 280 global financial leaders, including around 120 group chairpersons and chief executives. Under the theme “Rethinking the Playbook,” discussions examined how macroeconomic trends, financial market shifts and technological advances are reshaping opportunities and risks across sectors, asset classes and geographies. Participants represented banking, investment management and insurance, among other financial sectors. Panels considered whether financial strategies need substantial revision in an environment of persistent risk. The three-day summit will conclude on 4 November with the “Conversations with Global Investors” investment forum, jointly organised by the HKMA, the Securities and Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Academy of Finance.
